Pair of turquoise-blue fine leather pumps adorned on the front with a sky-blue silk bow in the shape of a flower; interior trimmed with white basane and fabric; one bears a label printed with the large imperial arms of the house: "VIAULT-ESTE. FOURR BREVETÉ DE S. M. L'IMPÉRATRICE - 17, rue de la Paix, Pa-ris - THIERRY & SONS Regent Street, 278 London"; the other a penciled marking: "S. M. L'Impératrice..."; plain leather soles, one stamped: "G" (left), and, at the ex-tremity, both are pen-marked: "2/2/82" (?); small blue leather heels; lengths approx. 22.5 cm inside and 23.5 cm outside, size: a small 36. (Wear). Enclosed is a business card envelope marked in pen: "Sa Majesté L'Impé-ratrice Eugénie St-Cloud" and, on the flap, the mark: "N" crowned, printed in blue. Second Empire period, late 19th century. Good condition
